I’ve really been struggling with hip pain due to arthritis I’ve been doing the on demand hip classes. I could nt do it all as I can’t lie on the affected side but I listened to the bits I couldn’t do knowing I’ll get there. Once the penny drops that recovery or managing joint pain is down to you, Julia’s Pilates isn’t magic you have to practice & do it regularly then it makes a massive difference. Julia safely guides, teaches & provides so much imaginative creative content it’s like having a key to a kingdom of effective wonderful exercises that make such a difference to your whole being. But you have to do them ! Thanks Julia for your hard work & your unique practice xx

Julia's online classes offer me a way to get high calibre pilates lessons completely flexibly. Julia can see what I'm accessing on line and checks in regularly to keep me on track and motivated. I've also enjoyed one to one time with Julia for completely bespoke tuition which was just what I needed to overcome some specific challenges and deepen my understanding of how to get the most out of my own pilates practice.

Julia is a fantastic Pilates teacher. I'm not in the habit of leaving reviews, but felt the need to leave this one! Julia's style of teaching is warm and encouraging. You can always work at your own pace in her classes and she provides different options depending on how you feel that day/your level of Pilates experience. I always come away from the class feeling better in body and mind. Her classes never fail to get my abdominals working in a way that traditional gym classes don't and they also really help to ease my stiff back. I'd highly recommend Julia.

I’ve been doing Pilates with Julia for many years, initially at her studio and now online. She’s an excellent teacher who brings her physiotherapy expertise as an additional bonus to her classes. There is a wealth of session choices available online, at different levels, as well as regular live classes several times a week. I always feel the benefit of the sessions. Thank you Julia.

I have now done a few online sessions with Julia at PhysioPilates.
I'm currently struggling to get back to regular exercise following a period of ill-health and a serious knee injury.
Julia provided routines that improved my range of movement, strength and confidence.

Having continued to hear and read so many good things about Julia's online PhysioPilates sessions, it was for a long time in my plan to get myself along to try one out. I'm gutted it took me so long to get booked on, because the session I attended last week was just brilliant. Julia has such a lovely way about her. She's nurturing and kind (and I could listen to her for hours), but she's clear and structured on guiding each participant through the things they need to be mindful of and the tweaks they need to make to their positioning to get the most out of the movements in the class. Her explanations of the what, how, and why were so simple, but this doesn't mean the class wasn't a challenge. I wanted this session to really work my body, and it delivered that in spades. I felt strong. And who doesn't want that?

I love Physio Pilates, you can participate as much or as little as you like depending on how you are feeling. The huge 'on demand' library allows you to move according to how you feel on a particular day for example if you have stiff knees or a stiff back you can choose the class tailored to that particular niggle. There's also lots of relaxing videos that you can do no matter how you feel. Such a wealth of informative movements that you can tailor to your own body - it is truly life changing what you can do and nothing feels better than when you've completed a class.
